But we had no deal.
Even though he tendered much.
What he offered me were diamonds, money, gold,
Fame and sex-appeal,
But I didn’t want his stuff.
You must know that he’s a canny business man
With a lot to give,

I said “Sorry, but my soul is not to vend
As long as I live.

You should know that he’s the personalized evil without scruples and regrets.
Always be aware that he’s the worst you’ve ever met.
First, he filled my purse and told me “Go ahead and shop!”
You know that consumption is a surrogate for god.
Then he made me look into the mirror and he said:
“You’d be looking great if you wore my crown on your head.”
And he went away and left that weird taste on my tongue.
It felt as if I saw all chance in my life’s gone.

Somehow I felt what he said could not be true and there had to be a rub
When he told me that all of my friends had joined his club.
He did not give up on me and tried to cross my way,
Several times I saw him in his seductive array.
Met me at the bar and Satan always paid the bill
And assured me there’s no wish that he could not fulfill.
I found out that all he said was just a brazen lie.
Rather poor and lonely than an alliance with this guy.
